League Cup Quarter Final
Kensington Dragons 2 Hanwell Town 0
The difference in progressing in cups or not, is taking what chances come along. The Ken Dragons had a total of two chances in a tight first half both of which were put away clinically. Despite a battling performance from a spirited Hanwell they could not match this and their cup run ends at this Quarter Final stage.
Hanwell Town 0 Thamesbank Dynamoes 5
Hanwell battled hard in this game against the organisation, power and speed of a tough Thamesbamk side. Handicapped by a late no show, Hanwell's ten men did well to hold the home team for large periods of the game limiting them to few chances.

Hanwell battled hard in what proved a tough tackling but fair game between two well matched sides. HARRY HORNE netted for Hanwell.
Hanwell Town 0 Barnes Eagles 1
Hanwelll are only left to rue their chances in this game. Proving the well worn adage that you may have all the play in the game but it counts for nothing if the onion doesn't go in the bag. SAFFI FAZLI was in one on one situations on three second half occasions. Ah what might have been.
Cowley Youth 8 Hanwell Town 0
Runaway league leaders Cowley proved too strong for a committed Hanwell team who, despite the scoreline, put in one of their better performances. The match started evenly and Hanwell looked as if they would hold their own but Cowley scored for the first time after around 15 minutes and added two more before the break. Hanwell weren't helped by a first half injury which meant the same 11 played most of the game.Cowley had subs and used them well, which told in the last quarter as the team tired and goals were conceded. Hanwell never gave up, however, and competed until the final whistle.

Hanwell started their year with a loss to an organised and talented Parkfield side. LULU TUCKER scored a crackingf goal for Hanwell from a corner to mark an imroved score to the corresponding fixture, limiting the damage this time 4 from 6 goals.

A scoreline that does not reflect how close this game was. Leading only 2 -0 at half time A & O pushed the League leaders all the way before their resistance finally crumbled at the end conceding three goals that does no harm for the Hanwell goal difference but warps a true reflection of the play. CHARLIE BECK did the damage grabbing a hatrick with other scorers being CALUM LOWTHER and debutant man of the match YASHI BANCIL

The U10As used all their Premiership experience to overcome the leaders of the U10 First Division in what was an entertaining cup game. LSA challenged a rusty looking Hanwell and probed down the flanks on their square Southall pitch but it was Hanwell who took the lead when a well struck speculative effort by captain JAMIE BUIST bobbled under the keeper. LSA fought back and caught out Hanwell with a well executed goal from a corner.
Tough talking at half time proved insufficient motivation as LSA pushed Hanwell back and caused pressure and panic enough to steal another goal and a sniff of the Semi finals. However Hanwell reorganised and upped the tempo and chances soon followed. NATHAN VACHER FONTAINE latched on to a long ball and when the keeper could only parry, TASHAN DWYER was on hand to restore parity in the score. Hanwell looked more comfortbale and another chance soon fell to VACHER FONTAINE who struck what proved to be the winner. Despite one scare Hanwell looked comfortable at the end. Man of the match BRADLEY VENTOUR.
Hanwell Town 12 White Wings B1
The under 10B's recorded their biggest win of the season as they provided too strong for White Wings B as they eventually ran out easy winners by 12 goals to 1. Hanwell started quickly and never let up and by half time they were 4 goals to the good.
The second half started with white wings scoring, what turned out to be there consolation goal as Hanwell proceeded to punished them with a fine example of team play and another 8 goals. The scorers where as follows SAMIR SHAFFI x 4, "Steady" EDDIE OAKAIDJA x3, RYAN CARROLL x 2 and 1 a piece for OWAIN "Henry" TAYLOR, GEORGE "magic boots" PEARSON and JOEL "the rock" TEIGER.
Man of the match for Hanwell was SMAIR SHAFFI with his 4 goals from his left midfield birth. This was a fine team performance and a return to Hanwell's fluid passing game which has been missing in recent weeks. Good effort boys!

It took the Lions a little while to find their shooting boots in this one but once the first one finally went in, they couldn't stop. The Lions were in control from the start but all the shots were wayward. It wasn't till after 10 mins or so that RAHUL KALHAN finally settled the nerves when he slid in at the back post to knock it home. After that the goals came quickly. OLIVER JONES scored a quickfire hat-trick, the best of which saw him meet a MATTHEW CROSBY corner with a great header. BEN GOULD, GEORGE BYRON and a second from RAHUL made the score at half time a rather comfortable 7-0. The second half saw the Lions trying a few different positions, CRAIG came out of goal for a run out on pitch and all players played in positions that they don't always play in. Some of the football was a little scrappy as players were all trying to get on the score sheet, the only extra goals coming from MATTHEW CROSBY and a second from BEN GOULD. All in all a good performance from the Lions coming back from defeat last week with a resounding victory. Player of the match LUKE GUYMER, one of the unsung heros who did well in a couple of different positions.
Hanwell Town 11 Hampton & Richmond Borough Youth 0
The Tigers bounced back well from their first defeat of the season last week with a comfortable victory this. It took 15 mins for the Tigers to finally make their superiority count when JOE SHEILS slipped the ball past the H&R keeper. This started a landslide. Before half time goals from JAMIE GOULD, TOM BAIGENT and 2 from JOSH NORRIS gave the Tigers a healthy 5-0 lead. This lead enabled the Tigers to have a little change around and give JACK PICKERING a run out on pitch. The second half started with a second goal from JOE who cut in nicely from the right to smash it past the keeper. More goals followed. JOE completed his hat-trick as did JOSH, TOM also got his second. The biggest 2 cheers were saved till last though as both SAMIR BOUANANE (the first game his mum has missed and he scores) and JACK SOLOMON scored their first goal of the season. With the amount of chances created the scoreline could quite easily have been double. Player of the match MIRAN BESARANI. Played some cracking football especially in the second half, having a hand in the majority of the Tigers goals.

The under 8s A are back to there best. A goal behind with only two minutes gone H T got going with sum excellent football. JOSEPH BOURKE and CALUM CHESHIRE are now strong and disciplined at the back.
CALEB JACOBS, ALEX YOUNGE and JOSHUA BERKATI took full control of the game. A great
move from back to front set up BERKATI with his first of two goals. 1 - 1 at H T then the real fun started H T dominated the whole of the second half two goals from AARON BROWN and one from CALEB JACOBS made it 5-1. Hanwells passing and movement was fantastic .Hanwell also hit the bar a excellent shot from CALEB JACOBS and JOSEPH BOURKE hit the post at the end of a great match. This weeks m o t m goes to CALEB JACOBS well done
West Drayton Explorers 2 Hanwell Town 1
This was a very even first half between two well matched teams. Hanwell looked very sharp in the opening minutes and LIAM ATRIDGE provided 1-0 lead with a well taken effort. Hanwell failed to pick up the opposition from an Explorers throw, their striker equalised with an excellent effort leaving DANIEL OTCHERE with no chance in the Hanwell goal.
Hanwell started the second half very well both ROBBIE CONNOLLY and LIAM were unlucky not restore Hanwell's lead. As the half progressed Hanwell looked very comfortable in defence with excellent performances from MANINDER BAINS and ANTHONY LOWNDES. ELLIOT FLETCHER put in another solid performance in central midfield his work rate and commitment were first class. The match looked like it would finish in a 1-1 draw when with only three minutes remaining DANIEL miss hit a goal kick, which fell to an Explorers forward who finished from close range. This was a disappointment only because DANIEL had such an excellent game, making a number of good saves. Hanwell to their credit pressed for an equaliser until the final whistle. A cruel defeat, the under 8 B's have made good progress this season, the elimination of silly errors will see the team return to winning ways.

Hanwell Town 9 Charville Athletic B 0
Despite having a current squad of nineteen Hanwell were down to the bare bones for this match such was the extend of injuries. Stand in captain HARRY MAGUIRE will not, however, have been disanointed with his stewardship as the black and whites ran out convincing 9-0 winners. The clean sheet was particularly pleasing as the A team were without their regular 'keeper but stand in JOE WEBB had little to do after the first 15 minutes. Charville 'B' had started well and got the ball forward quickly and used their five man midfield to pick up the pieces. Joe was called in to action several times but was off his line well and looked at ease in his new position. He was well supported by a stalwart defence with debutant ASHLEY DALEY looking comfortable along side the super dependable LUKE NICHOLAS
Hanwell played simple passing football today and the end result was some well worked goals. The first came from MICHAEL ANTHONY, who went on to score four, and the second from the spot by DECLAND SPEEDE who got his hatrick by the final whistle. ROBERT KEOGH also scored as did JOE WEBB - who had been restored to his favoured midfield berth when AHMED ARBI efforts in midfield had left him enervated. Three goals, in particular, were a bit special. Decland's third was a good finish from a Keogh cross that exemplified the teamwork ethic which brought the emphatic score line. His goal too, was a rasping shot from good passing in the approach. The ANTHONY third was an excellent individual effort coming at the end of a strong but mazy run. Most pleasing, however, was the overall team performance with Hanwell looking together and focussed. Man of the Match goes to MICHAEL ANTHONY who scored four and ran the CA 'B' midfield and defence ragged. A special mention, also, to JOE for helping out in goal.

On a bad day and a bad pitch the first half display by the U10B shone through like a lighthouse beacon. As conditions took there toll in the second half Hanwell showed they have another string to their bow as they were able to close out the game to record a comfortable 3-0 victory.
The first half saw the U10B's camped inside the Colt's half with little to show for there efforts until OWAIN "HENRY" TAYLOR picked up a loose ball inside his own half, striding forward playing a one-two with steady EDDIE OKAIDJA and smashing a sweet right foot shot high into the Colts net. The second was provided by JOEL "THE ROCK" TEIGER whose long range effort squeezed in under the Colts keeper.
The second half was much the same with Hanwell fully in control but they were only able to add a third and final goal to there tally as GEORGE "Magic Boots" PEARSON fired in from the edge of the penalty area, a real break from his trademark tap ins!
Man of the match for Hanwell was stand-in goalkeeper CONOR O'NEILL who on the whole had little to do but when called upon did his job well. A fine team effort considering the conditions.
Bedfont Juniors 2 Hanwell Town Tigers 5
This match was played in horrible conditions with the wind and rain making it very cold, but this didn't seem to bother the Tigers. In what was a fairly even first half with niether side seeming to take control, it was the Tigers
that took the lead after about 15 mins when OMAR BARZEY RILEY used his strength to hold off a BJ defender to fire the ball home. Nobody from either side looked like adding to the scoreline so the Tigers went in at half time leading 1-0.
The second half was a different story as the Tigers took control of the match straight from the kick off. Within 10 mins the Tigers were 3-0 up with Mr BARZEY RILEY scoring them both to claim yet another hat-trick. The Tigers were playing some lovely football but had started to take their foot off the pedal and allowed BJ back into the game with 8 mins to go(The 8 cos BJ manager asked the ref). Within 3/4 mins BJ had scored again to bring it back to 3-2 and set up a dramatic last 5 mins. This must have been the longest 5 mins on record because it lasted 12! Still, it was the Tigers that took advantage of this 'injury time' that was played by scoring twice, both times from JOE SHEILS to come out winning 5-2. All in all a good performance but we must try
to remember not to take our foot off the pedal when we go in front. Player of the match TOM BAIGENT, dominated the midfield area.

As the rain came down the goals went up, a great sunday for the under 7's after the disappointment of being beaten last time out. Whilst the final score is great for team morale it was more the way the team passed and worked the set pieces that was impressive. JACK opened the scoring and followed a few minutes later with his second, NICK PHILLIPS became our first hat trick hero of the season and CHRIS scored a super goal within 1 minute of coming on! After half time WILLIAM opened the scoring continuing his goal every game run before adding another 2 to become our second hat trick hero! One more goal from WILLIAM JOHNSTON, another from NICK and a great goal from LOUIS GRANTHAM took the total to 12!. Man of the match NICK PHILLIPS.

Today's word, boys and girls, is 'hubris'. It's a Greek word and it means "arrogance courting disaster" and it pretty well sums up this match. Hanwell approached this game all wrong and they were duly punished for it. The inclement conditions helped WDUs direct play and their long punts up field eventually saw the ball bundled over the Hanwell goal line. In contrast the A teams attempts to play football floundered in the mud. There was insouciance from some players and lassitude from others. But, in general, WDU wanted to win this match while Hanwell seemed to think that they were entitled to. In the end Hanwell can have few complaints. But complain they did, however, especially when a seemingly good equaliser was ruled out for off side.
Such was the robust, industrial nature of the complaining that Hanwell found themselves down to nine men. It is a shame that such passion was so misplaced and left for the last ten minutes. Lessons must be learned. Man of the match goes to FRASER MCKENZIE who didn't deserve to be on the losing side.
Hanwell Town 6 Hounslow Borough 2
The only thing of note in this one sided game was how Hanwell managed to conceed two goals.Four nil at half time, with the coaches plea not to conceed a goal in the second half still ringing in their ears, thats precicely what they did, concede a goal.
Any way well done to Hanwell for doninating Hounslow, who can be a threat if allowed.

Hanwell Town 8 Junior Bees 0
With a bitter wind and driving rain the weather made it difficult to control the ball. Junior Bee's were pretty much penned in there own half with only one though breaks which the keeper dealt with, with ease.
At half time management made some positional and tactical changes. MATTHEW WRAY dropped into defence and JOSHUA MAHONEY moved up into right midfield these made a dramatic change. within minutes as Hanwell were 2 up with 2 great shoots from JOSHUA MAHONEY, both coming from some great work down the left, one wrong footing the keeper and the other a neat lob. The change was amazing and with some great passing the middle DQUAN BABB was able to power his shoot home from just outside the area. From this moment on every attack looked goal bond and they more of less were. Two Hat ticks ANTHONY HAYNES and JOSHUA MAHONEY and a goal from DANIEL CAHILL, BEN CLEMENTS was denied by the upright allow JOSHUA to slot home his Third nice assist BEN, he should have had 4 but did not want to help ANTHONY'S ball over the line in case of offside. This was not only about goals scored it was a good solid second half with every player holding there position well enable the ball to move smoothly and quickly. JACK MCCINNES assisted one of the goals and was always a threat outside the box, JOHN CONWAY done well in goal and was his strong self in the middle working well with MATHEW LEE by closing the ball down. The defence was solid with the game finishing with ELLIOT WALKER, DEVANTE WRIGHT and SAM holding the back line.
Hampton & Richmond Borough 0 Hanwell Town 2
A hard fought away win for a disciplined Under 10 side. A scrappy start saw a midfield battle commence and to and fro throughout the first half with few clear cut chances. True the home team did hit the bar, but Hanwell piled on pressure with umpteen corners and it was the home keeper of the two who saw more of the ball in the half. It was about who scored first and KYLE LACY ANDREWS tapped in from a cross after a swift passing move up the pitch.
Hanwell poured forward and SOL QUARSHIE eventually nabbed another although DANDI SYLA had a shout for a last touch. JAMIE BUIST man of the match closely followed by LUKE FRANCIS who mastermined the midfield victory.
Barnes Eagles 0 Hanwell Town 1
A free weekend saw the A team take a trip south of the river to play a friendly against a Barnes Eagles side from the mighty West Surrey Premier Elite. However, despite travelling to the far south there was no escape from the bitter cold and much of the game was played with fluffy little flakes of snow floating gently around the boy's heads as they savagely and remorselessly tore into one another. Barnes Eagles started the better and had Hanwell pinned back in their own half for much of the opening 20 minutes The small pitch and five man Eagle midfield negated the Hanwell prerogative of 'get the ball wide' and match was busiest in the centre. However, the latter part of the first half saw Hanwell thaw out and start to threaten the Eagles goal but the stalemate remained un-breached at half time.
The second half started much the same as the first half ended with both team trading attacks like two well matched pugilists. However, the A teams passing was starting to come together and their thrusts forward growing increasingly meaningful. Eventually Hanwell grabbed a goal after good approach play from the excellent HARRY MAGUIRE with the final finish coming from DECLAND SPEEDE. And that was ultimately enough to win it.
It was an uncomfortably tight match which was hard fought by two determined sides. Hanwell can thank captain and stand in 'keeper JACK MCCARTNEY for maintaining their advantage with five minutes remaining but he was otherwise seldom tested during the game. This was mainly due to an imperious performance from centre back ASH DALY who scoops up the man of the match award with the same calm composure with which he handled with the Barnes attack. Ash was well supported by fellow centre back LUKE NICHOLAS and JAMIE LANGTON fought tenaciously in the midfield arena to cover his defenders. MICHAEL ANTHONY provided a consistent outlet for the Hanwell defence and AHMED ARBI contested ever ball going.
In the end it was better finishing from the A's which won it and rounded off a very pleasing team response to previous disappointments. A final word goes to today's ref who was outstanding.

Yeading/Hew 2 Hanwell Town 4
Hanwell ended their league season with a hard-fought 4-2 home win over Yeading. The match was finely balanced until THOMAS BARDA opened the scoring in the second half. RAF KOCHAJ added a second and Hanwell looked in control, only to concede two and allow Yeading back in the game. However, Hanwell dug deep and further goals from MICHAL KOCHAJ and KAVI LUCHOWA finished off the visitors.
The result means that Hanwell finished third in Division One, winning more games than they lost for the first time in at least three seasons. Of their defeats, four of the five were against the two teams that finished above them - so a marked improvement on last year.

The scoreline speaks for itself. Even after changing quite a few positions to give players a different experience, Hanwell kept shape and dicipline and banging in the goals. It says a lot for the depth of talent in this fine squad. Sandgate 3 Hanwell Town 2
Sandgate were fired up and brough the U10 As 7 match winning streak to an end. Up and at Hanwell from the start loose passes and poor shape led to 2 Sandgate one on ones with the Hanwell keeper. A gift of a ball led to a third which was gratefully accepted. Half time could not come too soon. Hanwell rallied and although they were the better team in the second half they had left too big a mountain to climb, the damage having been done. Goals from TASHAN DWYER and a deflected own goal from a JAMIE BUIST shot left Hanwell with credit for their never say die attitude but a sad loss of three points in the cold.
Hanwell Town 2 Challenger Youth 4
Disappointing result for the under 10B's against a physical Challenger youth side where the final result does not give a fair reflection of a game that was closer than the score suggests.
On the positive side Hanwell had plenty of possession, created loads of chances and played the better football for much of the game. The effort was good but the finishing was not. Ignoring the Hanwell errors On errors alone the game was 2-1! If all the Hanwell chances were converted the home side would have been in double figures.
The Negatives can be worked at onthe training ground but difficult not to feel that Hanwell shot themselves in the in the foot in this game.
It has to be stated that Hanwell scored the best taken goals from CONOR O'NEILL 's precise rising shot and "STEADY" EDDIE OKAIDJA thumping one home. On this occasion it wasn't to be, that's football - however much it hurts.

This was the Lions first game for a couple of weeks and it showed. The match was dominated by the Lions for pretty much the whole of the time but more often than not their passing went astray. The first half was fairly uneventfull with any chances created by the Lions being put wide, and CRAIG TILLYER in goal a mere spectator. 0-0 half time. The second half wasn't a great deal better with the Lions still not testing the CPC goalie with any of their chances. The attitude of the boys was great as they battled hard winning all their tackles and not giving CPC a sniff, but it looked like it was going to be one of those days. That was untill MATTHEW CROSBY picked up the ball on the right wing, got to the edge of the area and drilled in goalwards hard and low. The ball evaded everyone including the CPC keeper and nestled in the bottom corner. Apart from one moment towards the end when CRAIG had to be on his toes to keep out the CPC striker, the Lions were comfortable winners knowing that we can play a hell of a lot better. Player of the match RAHUL KALHAN, battled hard against some much bigger boys.

Yeading/Hew 1 Hanwell Town 0
This was a tough game for the Tigers against a strong Yeading side. It was the Tigers who took control early on without really threatening the Yeading goal. JACK PICKERING in the Tigers goal was also untested as neither side seemed to want to shoot. MIRAN BESARANI was controlling midfield and passing the ball about superbly and JOSH NORRIS was terrorising them down the left wing. Unfortunately, for all the nice football that was being played nobody wanted to shoot, so at half time it was still goal less. The second half was much the same although JOE SHEILS did come close on a couple of occasions but was thwarted by the Yeading keeper. The decisive moment came in the last 5 mins when a Yeading corner was met by a superb diving header to give JACK in goal no chance. The final few mins were spent in and around the Yeading area as the Tigers pushed hard for an equaliser, but to no avail. This was one of those times where the best team on the day didn't win, but that is what happens when you leave your shooting boots at home. Player of the match JOSH NORRIS, a constant threat

An excellent performance from Hanwell was built upon a rock solid defence; RIO WILKS and ANTHONY LOWNDES were both in fantastic form. Colts did not have a shot on goal in the first half. The only frustration was that we were unable to turn our first half dominance into a lead.
The second half started well with TIA PRIOR, ANDREW DICKSON and LIAM ATTRIDGE coming close to opening the scoring. ARCHIE HOGG had an excellent match with strong tacking and good passing, Archie won the ball in midfield and found TIA with a lovely through ball TIA'S shot was too hot to handle for the Colts keeper and MANINDER BAINS finished from close range. A well deserved win for Hanwell, all of the team were candidates for man of the match which went to RIO WILKS with a great display in defence.

Hanwell Town put up a brave performance in the freezing cold and were unlucky to lose this match. DAN GOULD captained the team for the first time and put in a captain's performance in defence in the first half. CHRIS CORRIGAN in goal kept LSA out until half time with some excellent saves. Despite numerous substitutions, the team kept its shape and competed hard for every ball. WILLIAM JOHNSTON took over with the gloves in the second half, and he too made a string of fantastic saves, diving bravely to stop some impressive shots. Hanwell Town 2 Feltham 2
Another Jekyll and Hyde performance from Hanwell Town that saw them dominate in the first half going 2-0 up only to lose advantage in the second. It was not long before Hanwell took the lead some good work in the middle from the ever improving MATHEW LEE put the ball out wide for BEN CLEMENT'S who skinned the defender, but could not manage to score. With the ball bobbling around, JACK MCCINNES stepped up and calmly lopped the keeper to give Hanwell a 1-0 lead. JOSHUA MAHONEY and MATTHEW WRAY controled the right side of the pitch and any break away from Feltham was dealt with be ROHAN DODD, and DEVANTE WRIGHT. it was only a matter of time before Hanwell stretched their lead, and it came from a cross from the left hand side, which Feltham could not deal with leaving a tap in for ANTHONY HAYNES, this seemed to spring life into Feltham who decided if they could not stop Hanwell they could at least kick them.
BEN CLEMENTS left the field injured after another poor challenge MATHEW LEE went and played center forward, and with half time looming he had a very good chance to put us 3-0 but shooting with the wrong foot allowed the keep to make a fine save. The second half saw total turn around for Feltham who with the wind behid them camped out in Hanwell's half. They in turn lost their shape and with MATHEW LEE coming off injured and JOSHUA MAHONEY also off the park after another nasty challenge that should have received a caution it was case of could Hanwell hang on, it was a good job that man of the match TOM GORDON was on top form or Hanwell would of come away losing...in the end Hanwell did hang on and lucky to come away with a point final score 2-2
Hanwell Town 4 Yeading/Hew 2
This was the slowest that i have ever seen the Lions start a match and it took a goal from Yeading to wake them up. The first 15 mins or so was totally dominated by Yeading as the Lions just kept giving them the ball. It was around this time that Yeading got their goal when a player picked up the ball by the half way line and ran unchallenged to the Lions area before crashing the ball past CRAIG. It was only towards the end of the half that the Lions decided to wake up and goals from HAMZAH KHAN and GEORGE BYRON put the Lions 2-1
ahead going into half time. It was almost 3 as GEORGE cracked a sweet shot against the bar just before the whistle. Half time 2-1. The second half was more like the Lions we are used to watching as they turned on the style with some lovely football. The 3rd goal came from a corner. MATTHEW CROSBY floated the ball in superbly and ARTHUR ROGERS rose like a salmon to head past the Yeading keeper. More chances were missed before the 4th goal was finally scored, HAMZAH KHAN scoring a belter. He received the ball facing his own goal, turned his defender before crashing the ball into the top corner from outside the area. Yeading did manage to score again following a sramble in the Lions area but the result was never really in doubt as the Lions could easily have scored more towards the end. Player of the match HAMZAH KHAN played like we all know he can.
Hanwell Town 0 Bedfont Eagles 0
This was a hard fought match against a vastly improved Eagles team. The Tigers had the better of the first half chances with JOE SHEILS twice going close but finding the Eagles goalie in good form. Both teams were battling hard but it was the defences coming out on top as neither side really looked like scoring in the first half. Half time 0-0. The second half saw a lot more chances created by both teams with TOM BAIGENT and JOHN CAHILL both going close for the Tigers, but if it wasn't for JACK PICKERING in goal the the Tigers could have quite easily found themselves losing this match. He made 3 one on one saves and his handling was superb throughout. All in all neither team really dominated this one so a draw was a fair result, it's just unlike the Tigers not to score at least 1 goal. Good game though. Player of the match JACK PICKERING, excellent throughout.

It needed a tremendous team performance to keep another clean sheet. After starting well with a great strike from AARON BROWN Hanwell played some nice football. In the first half created lots of good chances, failed to find the back of the net. In the second half Bedfont had more of the play. The pairing JOSEPH BOURKE and CALUM CHESHIRE once again showed what a good partnership they have, and have now kept three clean sheets in succession. The Second half was a real was a real battle at times but as this team have shown, time and time again they never give up. Man Of The Match ALEX YOUNGE

An excellent performance from Hanwell was built upon another rock solid defensive performance; RIO WILKS, ETHAN MOORE and ANTHONY LOWNDES were all in fantastic form. Hanwell dominated the first half and from a corner RIO hit a half volley which flew into the top corner of the net leaving the Glenister keeper as a mere spectator. ROBBIE CONNOLLY nearly made it 2 when his well struck effort shave the post.
The second half started well with both TIA PRIOR and LIAM ATTRIDGE causing Glenister constant problems in defence. ANDREW DIXON was very unlucky not to finish an excellent performance with a goal; TIA played a lovely through ball to ANDREW who was denied by a good effort from the keeper. A well deserved win for win for Hanwell, which really deserved more goals for their efforts.Man of the Match ANDREW DIXON a constant threat in midfield and attack.
Hanwell Town 3 Court Park Colts 2
Today's game was a real test of character for the under 7's and they came through with flying colours. Hanwell started well with some good attacking and strong midfield play. Losing shape mid way through the first half they became totally dependent on DAN GOULD in goal who made one particularly spectacular save and HARRY CHILDS and LOUIS GRANTHAM in defence who were stopping everything. Manging to hold the Colts off until just before half time when they scored a goal. At 1 nil down the second half well but an excellent passing move from the Colts saw them go 2 nil up.
At this point many teams would be beaten but not the Under 7's! Hanwell were awarded a penalty mid way through the half for handball which saw LOUIS GRANTHAM step up and score the first penalty of the season. WILLIAM JOHNSTON then came in to score the equaliser and a few moments later an excellent pass from him set NICK PHILLIPS up to score what turned out to be the winner!
In the final minute of the game a great save from ROBBIE ROUND secured victory. Man of the match was HARRY CHILDS for an outstanding performance in defence throughout the game.
