Hanwell Town 9 Hillingdon Saints 1
A stunning start to the season for Joe Azariah's Black & White Army sending the Hillingdon Saints not so much marching in as crawling home with their tails between their legs. Man of the match was Hanwell Hatrick Hero Nikell Patel ably supported by Mark Liston and daddy's boy Aaron Azariah who chipped in with a couple each. The goalscoring was completed by George Hewitt and Omar Fazli setting high standards indeed for what promises to be the most interesting of seasons.
Under 13 A
Feltham Youth 4 Hanwell Town 7
A fine away victory to start the season with 2 goals a piece for Joe Webb, William Roderick and Michael Anthony and Aaron Nelson chipping one in for good measure. However, it was the performance of Ben Redhead that caught the eye earning him the Man of the Match award in the face of some strong opposition from his teammates. 3 points on the road this early in the season bodes well. Worthy of a mention was the fine refereeing of 'young' Keith Holland - one to keep your eye on for the future.
Under 13 B
Hanwell Town 2 Explorers 1
A solid home team performance earned 3 valuable points for the 13 B's against a useful Explorers team. Goals from Joe Smith and Declan Speede made the points safe in a bruising battle in the Hanwell heat. Man of the match Joe Teal guided home Hanwell to a successful start to the season.
Under 12
Brook House 8 Hanwell Town 2
Brook House proved too strong for the 12's despite the best efforts of Man of the Match Daniel Crawshaw and the team. Hanwell did manage to breach the home teams defence on two occasions with goals from Sanchez Banger and Jan Ohl but ultimately were overrun by a better side. There is always the home game.
Under 11 A
Hanwell Town 9 Acton Sports Club 1
You have to be called George Williams to be Man of the Match if you are a Hanwell Under 11. Hatrick heroics from not only SAFI FAZLII who ended up scoring 4 but also JOSH BROWN were not enough to steal the accolade from George Williams after a stunning rout to start the season . In what proved a one sided contest goals flowed as the sun shone in Hanwell. Other goalscorers CHARLIE JOHNSON and MICHAEL BIRSE.
Under 11 B
AGV 2 Hanwell Town 1
Unlike his namesake in the A team George Williams Man of the Match performance was not enough to prevent the B's going down, away to AGV. The sharp shooter for the B's was Mark Chapman who has interesting historical record of shots on target.
Under 10's
Hanwell Town 5 White City Youth 2
Hanwell's under 10's provided the first home points of this season at Reynold Lane in a polished performance defeating a battling White City Youth team. Never really looking in trouble the goals from Jack Stephens (2), Eddie Carter , Oliver Duffy, and Max Roderick were evenly spaced throughout. The pick of the goals being Man of the Match Oliver Duffy after a fine solo run. WCY had the consolation of breaching the Hanwell defence twice but a solid team performance saw the points safely on the board.
Under 9's
Hanwell Town 2 Hayes Youth 8
Hanwell Under 9's were not able to show the resistance of their younger clubmates as Hayes youth romped to victory at Hanwell Town's Reynolds Lane ground. As the young Hanwellians wilted in the noonday sun the 9's from Hayes looked positively solar powered and the final whistle provided a blessed release from a very one sided contest. Melting in the sun for Hanwell was man of the match Niall Kirkland but alas strikes from Calum Duffy and a fine finish from Sam Pompilis proved insufficient to stop the Hayes machine.
Under 8's
Hanwell Town 4 Hayes Youth 5
It was a brave bid by the under 8's to stop Hayes Youth winning its 19th consecutive game at this age group. Hanwell Town rode their luck in the first half and some exceptional saves from keeper Sean Carroll kept them in game. After the break an equaliser from Jamie Buist gave hope before Hayes restored and extended their lead but Hanwell's never say die attitude gained reward with goals from last seasons leading scorer Matthew Phillips, and two of this seasons debutantes Ryan Bower-Moore and Bradley Ventour; the latter capping a man of the match performance. As they prayed for an early whistle on the Hanwell bench, the referee awarded a dubious equalising goal to Hayes (Where are the Russian Linesmen when you need them ?) In the dying seconds Hayes pounced on an error to show why they have remained unbeaten for so long. Time ran out on another Hanwell comeback - ah well, there is always the away game.

Cowley Youth 2 Hanwell Town 2
Hanwell Under 15's remain unbeaten after goals from Nikell Patel and Omar Fazli after a hard fought away game. Not going to be the 15's best performance but the first point on the board from this seasons travels. The contribution of Frankie Ellis earning him the nod for man of the match.
Under 13 A
Explorers 0 Hanwell Town 10
Hanwell dominated this one sided affair that soon settled into a game of target practice. For the second week running the 13's grabbed the points away from home with Robert Keogh leading the way with 4 goals, one better than Aron Nelson whilst Joe Webb, and Michael Anthony chipped in one each (as last week) with Harry Maguire getting on the score sheet for the first time. Two Hanwell Hatrick Heroes for the 13's with Keogh edging the Man of the match from stiff competition in his own side.
Under 12
Hanwell Town 0 North Greenford United 7
Hanwell were outplayed and after the defence was finally breached they did well to keep the score in single figures. Despite the adversity of a magnificent seven being scored against them a notable performance from earning him the man of the match accolade.
Under 11 A
Yeading HEW 2 Hanwell Town 6
2 Games 2 wins. The 11's march on undefeated with another hatrick hero from man of the match MICHAEL BIRSE, the other goals from JOSH BROWN (2) and PAUL UNDERWOOD. Shame to concede the 2 but so long as the "They shoot they score" cultutre continues it is a worry for the others in the league. Ealing UTD next week - look out !
Under 11 B
Hanwell Town 1 Brook House 6
Unlike the 11 A`s the B team struggled to compete with a lively Brook House side. Despite the best efforts of Goalkeeper George Williams there was little to get out of this game. NATHAN McLEOD grabbed the consolation.
Under 10 A
Brook House B 1 Hanwell Town 1
The 10's went one nil down but battled back with a hard fought equaliser. Man of the match CONNOR HEARN catching the eye with a spirited performance. In the circumstances a well earned away point.
Under 10 B
Hanwell Town B 1 Hayes B 2
Man of the Match AARON HARRIS put Hanwell 1 - 0 up at half time but could not prevent the 2nd half Hayes comeback, the game eventually ending 2 - 1 to the away side. Much to be proud of in this performance and the side should be proud of a great team effort.
.
Under 9 A
Bedfont Eagles 2 Hanwell Town 6
The 9's bounced back from last weeks defeat with a comfortable away win against Bedfont Eagles.
Under 9 B
Hanwell Town B 4 Glenister 1
Good solid home win for the 9Bs to put early points on the board after the disapointment of last weeks cancelled game. Goals from BEN CLEMENTS, LUKE JONES, KEVIN TAUTA, RAPHAEL TONDELA with a man of the match performance from MASAYUKI NOGUCHI - that's a name to look out for.
Under 8's
Manor Cubs 10 Hanwell Town 1
A disciplined performance from Manor Cubs contrasted with that of a very dissapointing Hanwell. The only highlight was the man of the match performance of TASHAN DWYER and his efforts earned due reward with the consellation goal. Some good goalkeeping helped prevent even more of a cricket score.
Under 7's
Hanwell Town 0 Hayes 3
A fine effort by the 7's in their first ever competitive match against a well drilled Hayes side

Hanwell Town 3 North Greenford UTD 3
Coach Joe Azariah was proud of his team as they battled a bigger stronger North Greenford team and were unlucky not to steal all three points. Man of the match DOMINIC PARRILLON scored twice DAVID HICKLING adding the third but North Greenford were not to be denied their point.
Under 13 A
Hanwell Town 3 Broadfields UTD 1
The names of MICHAEL ANTHONY (2) and ARON NELSON in the goals scored column is becoming as common as the name of Beckham on the England teamsheet as they both scored in the third consecutive game. Played three won three speaks for itself. Good disciplined performance sees Hanwell reaping the rewards once more.
Under 13 B
Bedfont Eagles 3 Hanwell Town 3
Hanwell did well to grab an away point in this entertaining free scoring game. Goals from DECLAN SPEEDE (2) and man of the match AHMED ARBI saw Hanwell spoil the Bedfont party to share the spoils in a hard fought contest.
Under 12
Beaconsfield SYCOB 6 Hanwell Town 0
Two early goals proved an insurmountable obstacle for Hanwell in their third straight loss. Fitness told in this game as Beaconsfield piled on the pressure and Hanwell's luck deserted them at 3 - 0 down with a bad miss in front of an open goal. Man of the Match was centre back JOHN McSWIGGAN who did much to prevent a worse scoreline.

Drayton Villa 3 Hanwell Town 5
NATHAN McCLEOD joins the HANWELL HATRICK HEROES with JAKE SHEILD grabbing the two goals for HANWELL. Special mention to GEORGE WILLIAMS who saved a penalty and but for a late offside decision Town would have had six.
Under 10 A
Hanwell Town 6 Hillingdon Saints 2
Hanwell made a bright start grabbing 2 early goals . Although the saints pulled one back the 2 goal cushion was restored by half time. Hanwell dominated the second half creating chance after chance. 3 Goals in the second half with the saints nabbing a further consolation did not reflect the Hanwell possession and chances. Two goals apiece from JACK STEPHENS and OLIVER DUFFY and one from CONNOR HEARN and man of the match AIDEN LONERGAN left a scoreline that could have made worse reading for Hillingdon.
Under 10 B
Heathrow Harriers 1 Hanwell Town B 4
Hanwell Town weathered an early storm before breaching the Harriers defences not once but twice before the interval. Chances galore came and went for Hanwell but they only found the net twice more before conceding a consolation penalty for the home side. Man of the match CHARLIE PEARSON scored twice with SHYHEIM REITTIE and GIORGA DUNN being the other scorers
Under 9 A
Hanwell Town 2 Ealing UTD 2
This match was a sign of just how far this side has come. In the corresponding fixture last season there was an 8 goal advantage to Ealing UTD. On this performance, one of character and composure by the home side at the final whistle there was nothing to choose between the sides. An even start eventually saw Ealing take the lead in the first half but Hanwell heads did not drop. A second Ealing goal was the catalyst for a gritty comeback by Hanwell with MATTHEW LEE reducing the deficit before sustained Hanwell pressure saw LOUIS AKIOYA snatch a deserved equalising goal on the stroke of full time.
Under 9 B
Sandgate A 5 Hanwell Town 1
Spirited performance from the B team was enough to prevent a loss to a solid Sandgate. BEN CLEMENTS grabbed the goal for Hanwell. The man of the match was LUKE JONES.
Under 8's
Hanwell Town 1 Cowley Youth 12
Not so much a bad day at the office as a terrible one, leaving much for players and coach to ponder. Despite a competitive opening few minutes, Hanwell succumbed to pressure followed by an implosion of basic errors leaving them 4 down at the interval before heads dropped opening the flood gates in the second half. A fine goal by BRADLEY VENTOUR after dribbling his way through Cowley was all there was to show for their effort. A forced goalie substitution did nothing to ease the pressure making it all too easy for Cowley.
Under 7's
Hanwell Town 1 Heathrow Harriers 2
A fine battling performance from Hanwell saw them go down to the Heathrow Harriers. However, there was much to be admired in the Hanwell play despite the result with good passing and movement. They looked far from a team in only their second match. A fine one on one save by keeper JACK SOLOMON near the end of the match prevented what would have been a further unjust score. Another day may have seen the scoreline reversed. JOHN CAHILL scored the goal for Hanwell and MIRAN BESRANI caught the eye in a man of the match performance

Hanwell Town 2 White City Youth 3
Hanwell suffered their first defeat of the season against a strong physical White City Youth side in what was a very entertaining game. Although the right team won it is a measure of how far the Hanwell 15's have come in that the same fixture last season WCY had a seven goal advantage. Goals from DOMINIC PARILLON and OMAR FAZIL were not enough to prevent conceding the unbeaten record. Man of the match was ROHAN HUHN
Under 13 A
Charville Athletic 4 Hanwell Town 2
Goals from ROBERT KEOGH and AARON NELSON were scant consolation in a game were the A's were always second best. Although Hanwell competed they weren't allowed to direct play by Charville who proved too strong.
Under 13 B
Hanwell Town 4 Feltham 2
DECLAN SPEEDE was the Hanwell Hatrick Hero as his three goals and man of the match performance helped sink Feltham. AHMED ARBI grabbed the other Hanwell goal. Speede scored once in his first game, twice in his second and a hatrick today in this his third game. Next week the B team meets the A team in an all Hanwell clash. Keep your eye on Speede as he goes for 4 from four. A fabulous team performance with all departments doing their job to ensure a well earned three points.
Under 12
Hanwell Town 6 Bedfont Eagles 3
A tactical change proved the turning point in an enthralling game resulting in Hanwell's first win of the season. Losing 3 -1 at half time, 3 substitutions at half time proved effective as the marking tightened considerably in the second half. LUKAS HUHN was the Hatrick Hero with 3 goals with the other scorers being DANIEL WOODGATE, DANIEL BROWNE and JAN OHL. So dominant were Hanwell that SANCHEZ BANGER was unlucky to have a had a goal disallowed in what proved the classic game of two halves.
Under 11 A
Explorers 0 Hanwell Town 12
The biggest Hanwell victory of the day goes to the 11A'a. Man of the match JUSTIN MAISEY directed proceedings as JOSH BROWN grabs another entry in the Hatrick Heroes with a rare away hatrick. The home side added to their own woes with three own goals underlining the pressure they were put under by Hanwell. The other scorers for Hanwell were GEORGE WILLIAMS, MICHAEL BIRSE, SAFI FAZLI (2), PAUL UNDERWOOD, and JUSTIN MAISEY in what a scorefest for Hanwell. A good result for goal difference, confidence and goal bonuses.
Under 11 B
Hanwell Town 0 Junior Bees 5
Hanwell went down to a well organised Junior Bees team. Despite best efforts Hanwell were never allowed into the game and eventually the Junior Bees proved too strong.
Under 10 A
West Drayton Boys Club 1 Hanwell Town 0
A game where Hanwell created lots of chances but the sites were slightly off the shooting boots. Hanwell started strongly and soon created goal scoring opportunities. The home side were then awarded a dubious penalty against the run of play but justice was done as keeper ROBYN TILLYER made a fine save. Despite the Hanwell pressure 5 Minutes before half time a slip let the home side in a 1 on 1 with keeper. TILLYER saved the initial shot but the forward was quickest to the rebound netting to lead at half time. Hanwell pummelled the opposition in the 2nd half and as they poured forward gaps appeared at the back leaving keeper ROBYN TILLYER exposed. However, her confident keeping, worthy of the player of the match accolade, prevented any future goals but despite the pressure Hanwell couldn't break through the Boys club defences to get the reward their efforts so richly deserved.
Under 10 B
Hanwell Town B 4 White City Youth B 0
It proved a one sided match that Hanwell were always in control of. The home side started strongly and won a penalty JOE LYONS scoring on the rebound. CHARLIE PEARSON scored making it 2 - 0 at half time. Confidence spread throughout the side and although the goalie had little do to when called upon he looked safe and secure. PEARSON grabbed another goal and the scoring was completed by player of the match GIORGIA DUNNE as Hanwell ran out worthy winners.
Under 9 A
Hayes 7 Hanwell Town 0
A harsh scoreline that does not truly reflect the game. Hanwell dominated the first half creating chances hitting the target and forcing saves on several occasions. The ball did find its way into the net only for the goal to be disallowed. Alas, Hayes rode their luck and against the run of play managed to sneak a goal just before the break. Hanwell were unable to maintain the pressure and two quick goals put Hayes in control. Unfortunately, heads dropped and Hayes took ruthless advantage to hammer home their superiority. LOUIS AKIOYA continued his fine form with his Man of the match performance. Despite the scoreline their were many positives for the Coach to take away from the game.
Under 9 B
Hanwell Town 1 Ealing United B 1
A last minute equaliser denied Hanwell all three points in a thrilling contest with local rivals Ealing UTD. Hanwell should have wrapped it up and looked to have done enough to take all three points but Ealing's persistence paid off when a defensive lapse in the last minute let them in for a share of the spoils. Goal scored by LEWIS SHIRLEY and man of the match RAPHAEL TONDELA.
Under 8
Cowley Youth 9 Hanwell Town 1
A much improved performance this week from Hanwell against Cowley. The final score being a slight injustice to a battling performance. A flurry of late second half goals flattered the home side who were pushed for much of the game. 2- 0 down at half time thanks largely to the efforts of man of the match EOGHAN MCNELIS. A soft early goal at the start of the second half was immediately countered by a tap in goal from RYAN CARROLL his first of the season, after a determined run from BRADLEY VENTOUR. Alas, the comeback was short-lived, McNelis could hold out no more and sustained pressure finally resulted in a succession of quick goals leaving Hanwell trailing in the Cowley wake once more.
Under 7
Hanwell Town 0 Explorers 2
Hanwell were unlucky in a gutsy match. An excellent first half with lots of passing and movement should have had some reward. Explorers caught Hanwell twice on the break after the interval and held their lead, ultimately looking good value for the points. BEN CHILDS was the Hanwell man of the match but a game of missed opportunity for the home team.

St Joseph's 88 4 Hanwell Town 3
A really good game of football. The home team went 1 - 0 before DOMINIC PARRILLON equalised This prompted St Joseph's into action as they extended their lead to 3 - 1. However, the 15's showed great character as they fought back with goals from OSMAN HAIDER and BARRY WILLIAMSON to level at 3 all. This forced extra time. With penalties looming Hanwell were unfortunate to give away a penalty in the last minute leaving St Josephs to progress through to the second round. Man of the match NICKY ZAMMIT.
Under 13 A
Hanwell Town 2 West Drayton Utd 0
Sometimes you have to grind out a result and the mark of a good side is when they win after playing badly. Enough clichés. Hanwell should have mullered this lot but the ball just wouldn't go in. A new system in the first half didn't work due to the bad wind and hard ground. A more familiar set up in the second half saw the home team with a lot of possession but not much luck in front of goal. AARON NELSON didn't so much leave his shooting boots at home but sent them to the West Indies and dropped them down the Marianas Trench!! Good displays by the centre backs in front of several scouts. M.O.M. goes to LUKE NICHOLAS, the next Tony Adams. The goals were well taken by WILL RODERICK and ROBBIE HEDGES
Under 13 B
Hillingdon Borough 4 Hanwell Town 1
The result flattered the home team. Overall a good performance by Hanwell but a few defensive mistakes let Hillingdon in. It was a good effort by the squad. Man of the match for Hanwell ALEX MCRAE with FREDDIE HAYNES scoring the Under 13's solitary goal of the weekend.
Under 12
Hanwell Town 3 Enfield Youth B 4
An excellent and enjoyable game of football saw Enfield edge Hanwell. The goals for Hanwell came courtsey of LUKAS HUHN, SANCHEZ BANGER and SEB ROSE. However, many good points in the Hanwell performance in what is an improving sid. Losing 2 - 0 they came back to equalise at half time 2 - 2 . Frankly, the game could have gone wither way but it was Enfield who edged it inthe end. JOHN McSWIGGAN caught the eye in his man of the match performance at the back.

Hanwell Town A 7 v Hanwell Town B 0
The first Battle of Hanwell saw the A side overpower the B side in a one sided affair. The goalscorers that saw the A side not so much grab the three points as seize them in glory were JUSTIN MAISEY (2) GEORGE WILLIAMS (2) PAUL UNDERWOOD, SAFFI FAZLI and JOSHUA BROWN
Under 10 A
Hanwell Town 2 v Brook House 0
A game of two halves both dominated by Hanwell Town. Man of the match AIDEN LONERGAN dictated proceedings in a majestic performance by the team. An own goal gave Hanwell a well deserved half lead, a Brook House defender slicing into his own net after the ball cannoned back off the post following an Oliver Duffy shot. This was no more than the home side deserved having the woodwork three times. Second half more of the same as totally domination resulted in a fine goal by OLIVER DUFFY following another long range shot. Good defence ensured the goalkeeper did not have a single shot to save. CONNOR HEARN missed it like BECKHAM not once but twice from the penalty spot but this proved neither here nor there as Hanwell deservedly won all three points.
Under 10 B
Isleworth Colts 2 v Hanwell Town 0
It says much about the strength of the home team that the Hanwell man of the match was their keeper ARCHIE JONES. An unfortunate own goal left Hanwell trailing at half time and although they battled well Isleworth took control in the second half but resolute defence finally conceded again. The 1 goal in the second half was little to show for their mastery of the game. Much of this was due to defence and ARCHIE JONES who pulled off a string of outstanding saves to keep the home side limited to the 2 goals only. Hanwell coach upbeat about the effort shown by the defence again a good side.
Under 9 A
Hanwell Town 2 Charville Athletic 0
A good three home points in a game that was dictated by Hanwell. Goals from MATTHEW LEE and man of the match CALLUM DUFFY were scant reward for the domination shown by the home side. SAM POMPILIS went close on more than one occasion as Charville did well to limit the damage. Much to please the coach - from this performance; 3 points, a clean sheet and all round excellent team effort.
Under 9 B
Ealing United 3 v Hanwell Town 1
Hanwell simply lost their shape too much as Ealing capitalised on the defensive lapses. Although they competed well, it was left to BEN CLEMENTS to grab what proved to be a consolation goal as Hanwell were simply second best in this game.
Under 8
Hanwell Town 7 Court Park Colts 0
A good day at the office. Hanwell dominated the Colts in a contest that was all but over within the first five minutes by which point Hanwell were three goals up. Fortunately, the Hanwell keeper had had a good warm up as he stood in splendid isolation for most of the game as the action remained in the other half. 2 goals a piece for TASHAN DWYER and MATTHEW PHILLIPS with the other scorers being KYLE LACY ANDREWS, LUKE FRANCIS and GEORGE "Magic boots" PEARSON who was clinical from four feet. A splendid team effort with special mention to the defenders and goalkeeper who kept their first clean sheet of the season. MATTHEW PHILLIPS agreed to look after the Man of the match trophy for the whole side all of whom contributed to a fine victory.
Under 7
Cowley Youth 3 Hanwell Town 4
The Under 7's won their first victory in an exciting game made more remarkable by the fact it was away from home . Despite being the smaller side and conceding an early goal Hanwell fought back with goals from JOHN CAHILL, JOE SHIELS and HAMZAH KHAN to lead 3 - 1. They conceded another to leave the match nicely poised at 3 - 2 at the break. Man of the match CRAIG TILLYER saved a penalty to maintain the lead but the home side equalised before JOHN CAHILL stepped forward to score a penalty to give Hanwell Under 7's a fine first victory which will surely on this spirited performance against bigger opposition will not be their last.

Hanwell Town 6 Court Park Colts 0
Not even the windy conditions could spoil this for Hanwell. Playing with the wind in the first half they went 3 - 0 by the break. A few second half changes saw Hanwell in their true colours as they completely outplayed their opposition, frankly it was ticking. Man of the match DOMINIC PARRILLON (3) the latest entrant to the hall of Hatrick Heroes, even had time to miss a penalty as he ran his socks off during the second half. The other goals were scored by OMAR FAZIL, CALLUM ARACHI, and OSMAN HAIDER

Thamesbank Dynamoes 5 Hanwell Town 1
Playing against the wind they were 2-0 at half time. In the second half Hanwell started to push, losing shape and let in an early goal, which was quite disappointing after a brighter start. DANIEL WOODGATE got a goal back from a flick header which was goal bound from man of the match SANCHEZ BANGER, but Thamesbank got 2 late goals as Hanwell pushed forward with time running out. A disappointing performance from a team that played so well the week before..

Hanwell Town 4 Brook House 0
Hanwell Town maintain their position as TOP OF THE LEAGUE thanks to goals from JOSH BROWN (2) MICHAEL BURSE and PAUL UNDERWOOD who scored an absolute blinder from a corner. Consensus amongst the spectators was that it was worthy of a goal in the Premiership. HARRY HOPKINS played out of position in defence turning in a man of the match performance keeping a clean sheet. The 11 A's are flying.
Under 11 B
Yeading HEW v 2 Hanwell Town B 2
Absolute smashing game of football. 0-0 at half time. Second half the home side quickly went 2 - 0 up and in days gone by that would have been enough for the B side to give up - not any more. They showed a lot of character in battling back to get a draw with a good side with goals from RICHIE MAKEPIECE and CHRIS CHERVEZ. A very pleasing performance for the team and coach.
Under 10 B
Hanwell Town 3 v Alpha Omega 0
This was an excellent game played in the in the right spirit by a skilful ALPHA OMEGA side who were unlucky not to get something out of the game. AARON HARRIS put Hanwell ahead following in after a fierce shot from GIORGIA DUNNE to give Hanwell a half time lead. ROSHAN VYAS broke clear in the second half to score the second and should have had another minutes later when his rising shot cannoned off the crossbar. GIORGIA DUNNE eventually headed her way onto the score sheet. In truth Alpha were far from outplayed and but for more fine saves from ARCHIE JONES who ensured a clean sheet, the result could have been closer. In the last minute an Alpha forward breaches the defence and draws and beats Hanwell keeper JONES only to see the shot strike the crossbar before being cleared. A quirk of the fixtures sees Alpha play Hanwell in the cup at home again next week. On the evidence of this, despite the scoreline today it could be a close one to call. Man of the match ALEX JOHNSON.
Under 9 A
Hanwell Town 5 Junior Bees 2
Another fantastic display of passing so much so the score could have been 10 - 2. The Bees scored at the beginning of the game, when Hanwell were asleep, and the end when Hanwell were exhausted. However, the meat in the sandwich was the silky passing game that the 9's are becoming accustomed to. Credit must go the opposition for the spirit in which the game was played. Goalscorers for Hanwell were JONATHAN BURSE , CALLUM DUFFY, SAMUEL POMPILLIS (2) and ANTHONY HAYNES. Man of the match was ANTHONY ROSE, giving a birthday performance, a rock in defence. A few adult sides could learn a thing or two from this passing display.
Under 9 B
Hanwell Town 5 v Acton Sports 3
2 Goals a piece for LUKE JONES and KEVIN TAUTA, following up a rebound after his own penalty were enough to ensure a fine home win. A late goal by DANIEL CAHILL saw off any chance of a comeback from an increasingly petulant Acton side.
Under 8
Hanwell Town 0 Ealing UTD 8
A reorganised side could not contain the clever football of Ealing UTD in what became a one sided affair. Despite the attempt by Hanwell to play a passing game they could not breakdown the Ealing defence. Late attempts from TASHAN DWYER were unlucky as the 8's played in their first game this season without scoring a goal. KYLE LACEY ANDREWS showed bravery in goal. Man of the match was BRADLEY VENTOUR who shored up the midfield in the second half.
Under 7
Hanwell Town 1 Yeading HEW 2
Hanwell started well in a closely contested game and created several chances before JOHN CAHILL eventually gave them a deserved lead. Yeading did not lose heart and competed well in the second half eventually gaining an equaliser as Hanwell tired as the game went on. Yeading piled on the pressure, as Hanwell seemed to have survived for a draw. In the final minute Yeading forced a corner, and little could be done about the well connected shot that was worthy of winning any game. As the final whistle went and the fat lady sang, Hanwell were left to rue their early chances which if converted would have seen a reverse of the result.

Hillingdon Saints 0 Hanwell Town 14
The 15's started their season with a comprehensive 9 -1 home win over the Saints. They achieved the double at a canter dominating every phase of the game. OMAR FAZLI wants to play them every week as he bagged half of Hanwell's goals. DOMINIC PARRILLON also makes it as a Hatrick hero scoring three with ROHAN HUHN (2) , MARK LISTON and GEORGE HEWITT scoring the other goals. Despite the strong competition from his team-mates OMAR FAZLI stole the show as man of the match - he shoots he scores. Games against Hillingdon make a record of easy reading played 2 won 2 goals for 23 goals conceded 1. Maximum points - and we all know what point make.

Who needs Sky Sports when you can watch this for free on a Sunday! A consummate performance and great team effort, led by captain Robert Keogh, that clipped the wings of the league leaders. A magnificent all round team effort. There were good performances from Jack Readings, Robbie Hedges scoring his third in 3 games and HARRY MAGUIRE. The back 5 were truly outstanding and well marshalled by `keeper PERRY HEASLIP. AARON NELSON got three goals but Man of the Match goes to JOE WEBB who came on as second half sub and scored a hat trick. But remember Joe; no one likes a show off!! Hanwell leapfrog Bedfont at the top of the League by two clear points.

Hanwell Town 1 v Brook House 10
It was a bit of a mess of a game for Hanwell. It feltlike every time what was obviously a well disciplined Brook House team shot they scored. The fact they didn't was due to the brave keeping of DANIEL CRAWSHAW, Hanwell's man of the match. The sole consolatiion for Hanwell was a great left foot shot from outside the goal area by SANCHEZ BANGER that fairly whistled in. One for the scrap book. Hanwell rather cruelly had a penalty decision turned down as a young ref fought to keep control of the game. The goal for HANWELL was one to remember, the game one to forget.

AGV Youth 2 Hanwell Town 4
HANWELL TOWN Under 11 A's remain top of the League after a fine away victory at AGV Youth. JOSH BROWN starred as his hanwell hatrick earned him the man of the match CHARLIE JOHNSON nabbed the other goal as Hanwell continue their fine form. It was a fine performance showing the gritty character of this side as they came back from being 2 -1 down after 15 minutes. Let's hope vertigo doesn't set in as they enjoy the dizzy heights looking down on the other teams from the top.

Hanwell Town 5 v Alpha Omega 1
CHARLIE PEARSON gave Hanwell a perfect start with two early goals. Alpha pulled one back before half time with a well worked move. The second half Hanwell passed the ball and played some good football cruising into a 5 - 1 lead with two goals from GIORGA DUNN and one from AARON HARRIS. The away keeper made a series of good saves restricting Hanwell to just the 5. It was only one way traffic due to a strong man of match performance in defence by SHYHEIM RIETTIE a truly sterling effort. Bring on the 2nd round.

Ealing UTD 1 Hanwell Town 0
A very difficult game where Hanwell deserved more. A draw would have been the right result for a game dominated in periods by Hanwell. Man of the match was keeper DOMINIC SINGH who performed fantastically. Ealing won the points in the last minute following a good strike from a corner. Taking chances wins matches as Hanwell found to their cost in a game that could have oh so easily gone their way.
Under 8
Hive 4 v Hanwell Town 2
Hive achieved their first victory of the season but the bare result doesn't tell the story of the game. Hanwell playing their 3rd choice keeper competed furiously before two silly defensive errors gave the home side a lead against the run of play. Hanwell bounced back into the game with TASHAN DWYER's first touch after coming on a substitute following a Sunday morning shopping trip that over ran !!! LUKE FRANCIS restored the equilibrium before the break lobbing the keeper, TAHSAN sticking out a toe to make sure it crossed the line. Half time, all square and Hanwell on top. The second half saw the woodwork struck by Hanwell four times, their keeper in their coaches words "had a blinder" easily winning him the man of the match award. Shot after shot poured in for Hanwell as in turn last ditch tackles, goal line clearances, great keeping and the woodwork denied them. Virtually all Hanwell's players went close to scoring, notably BRADLEY VENTOUR who almost joined the likes of PELE and BECKHAM by scoring from his own half. Alas it was not to be and pushing men forward cost Hanwell the game as two further lapses let HIVE in for a rare victory. Hanwell may be ahead on all OPTA stats for the game but there is only one that really counts. Much for Hanwell to proud of in this display though. Wait until we get them at home.

A well drilled Brook House side were too organised for Hanwell's improving Under 7's. HANZHAR KHAN managed to grab the consolation goal in a match where Hanwell were always second best.

There is a quote from a famous coach that goes "..keep the ball on the floor and play your football" It is a message that Joe Azariah has certainly got through to his players as they overcame the difficult weather conditions playing their all to familiar football with the usual winning result. The goalscorers too have a familiar ring DOMINIC PARILLON scoring his third hatrick of the season, man of the match NIKELL PATEL scoring 2, being joined on the scoresheet by OMAR FAZLI (settling for just the one goal this week) , DAVID HIKILIN, GEORGE HEWITT, OSMAN HAIDER and ROHAN HUHN. The team played very well round as the spread of goals shows.

Hanwell Town A 6 Feltham 0
The Under 13 'A' teams unbeaten home record continues with this demolition of Feltham Youth. The going was tough for the first half with wind and rain, bu Hanwell proved that the tough get going. AARON NELSON managed to grab a hatrick despite the inclement conditions and the second half saw the lads finish the job over an increasingly the demoralised opposition. AARON scored another with one for MICHAEL ANTHONY and one for "Captain Marvel" ROBERT KEOUGH. The highlight of the game, however, was Michael Anthony's run from his own penalty through the entire Feltham team only to hit his shot right at the Feltham 'keeper from 6 yards. Bad luck Mike. The back 5 were once again superb and the overall team performance was good. A mention for the ref, too, who was excellent. M.o.M goes to 4 goal hero AARON NELSON with any of the back five running him close.

Hanwell Town 0 v Brook House 8
An improved performance by the 12's against the same opposition as last week. Brook House showed why they are top of the league. The away side showed just why they remain unbeaten and are sitting pretty on top of the table. Hanwell did not play as well as they are capable and they can only improve in their next game. 3-0 at half time Hanwell lost hope in the second half and gave 5 goals away with sloppy play and lack of communication. Man of the match for Hanwell was JOHN MCSWIGGAN

Hanwell Town 10 v Drayton Villa 2
Hanwell Town stay top of the league in a demolition of Drayton Villa. Th result was made all the more remarkable by the uabsence of the usual keeper. JOSH BROWN underlined his credentials as a marksman with his third hatrick of the season. PAUL UNDERWOOD MICHAEL BIRSE were not far behind with 2 each The other goalscorers were SAFFI FAZLI, JUSTIN MAIZEY and CALLUM BUIST. The performance of JACK CLEMENTS as a makeshit keeper is worthy of a special mention. However, another good team performance saw the 11A's, acting as a unit, extend their lead at the top of the league to 9 points.

Hanwell Town 8 Junior Bees 0
The game had a quiet opening as both teams took time to settle. Clearly, Hanwells passing game settled the better because in a devastating three minute period they tore Junior Bees apart scoring a quickfire three goals that effectively ended the game as a contest. The measured and controlled football led to 2 more goals before the break. The second half was controlled by Hanwell although they lost a bit of their flowing football as everyone pushed forward looking for a piece of the action. 3 more goals came as the defence did well to cope as the Bees looked dangerous on the counter. CONNOR HEARN became the second Under 10 in the Hanwell hall of hatrick heroes benefiting from good crosses and corners. OLIVER DUFFY scored twice, the other scorers were JACK STEPHENS, AIDEN LONERGAN and ANDREW CARRANO capping a man of the match performance.

Hanwell Town 9 Heathrow Harriers 2
A shaky start to the game saw Hanwell going 1 nil down. It was the just the jolt they needed. 5 Minutes later they were 3 - 1 up and 4 -1 by the break. The second half saw some devestating passing football with Hanwell dominating creating chance after chance, only 5 of which went in. CHARLIE PEARSON led the scoring with a hatrick, becoming the first Under 10 into the Hanwell hall of hatrick heroes he could so easily have been followed by SHYHEIM RIETTIE who bagged 2, the other scorers being STUART REGAN, a magnificent driving shot from just in his own half, ROSHAN VYAS and GIORGA DUNNE. The first goal was an own goal from a Harriers backside but fair play to CHARLIE for showing a good strikers instinct in trying to claim it. Heathrow grabbed a second goal in the last minute but really apart from the start and the end they were never really in it.
Under 9 B
Glenisters 3 Hanwell Town 4
This was a good game of football, played in the right spirit by both teams. Hanwell were on top from the start and goals from man of the match DANIEL CAHILL, LUKE JONES and MASAYUKI NOGUCHI (2) took Hanwell into a 4 -1 lead. However if you leave things in cruise control for too long you can fall asleep, and sure enough in the last ten minutes Glenister grabbed two goals back to make for a tense finish to an exciting match. The 9B's held out to complete the double over their rivals scoring 4 a piece home and away.
Under 8
Hanwell Town 2 v Sandgate 2
It is not whether you win or lose it's how you play the game. Played at times in the most awful of Sunday's weather, the players and spectators were very wet and cold indeed. An early contender for Man of the match was the kind lady who sells the teas and coffees in the club house. The game settled down and Hanwell continued the recent signs of improvement with a show of good passing football. They were rewarded with a goal from BRADLEY VENTOUR nudging in from a corner by LUKE FRANCIS. This was followed up by a race for a through ball between RYAN CARROL and RYAN BOWER MOORE, the latter firing in giving the keeper no chance. Hanwell conceded a soft goal just before the break. The start of the second half saw Hanwell under pressure and Sandgate deservedly equalised. The game then became a good contest between two well matched teams, and you felt one mistake or piece of skill might pinch it. In the dying minutes BOWER MOORE smashed a free kick at the goal, trying to double the goalscoring bonus from his mum to £2 this week, but the Sandgate keeper made a fine save to von Ryans express. PETER BROWN took man of the match for a stalwart job in defence. It is amazing how wet some people can get. So they didn't win or lose but how well they played the game.

Hanwell Town 0 Ealing UTD B 3
Despite the result, the 7's show the basis of a passing side in the traditions of their older clubmates. It was refreshing to see the ball being played out from the back rather than the hit and miss of kick, rush and swarm so generally familiar to watchers of this age group. Tackling, or rather the lack of it let the 7's down in the end flattering Ealing in the scoreline. Man of the match JACK SOLOMON was solid, playing well in the difficult weather conditions.

Round 2 Middlesex County Cup
Kodak Youth 0 Hanwell Town A 17 (Seventeen)
Hanwell progressed almost effortlessly into the third round of the Middlesex County Cup with a drubbing of Kodak Youth. Whilst one goal is sufficient to see you through, Hanwell thought they better make sure and then some. To say this was quite easy for the U13 A team is a bit like saying Angelina Jollie is quite good looking! Hatricks from WILLIAM RODERICK (4), ROBERT KEOGH (3), JACK McCARTNEY (3) make the 13 A's the first side to have three entries from the same match in Hanwell Hatricks. Further goalscorers were AARON NELSON (2), JOE WEBB, FRASER MACKENZIE, MICHAEL ANTHONY, JACK READINGS (who then played in goal for the second half) and PERRY HAESILP (the first half goalkeeper). Special mention to the few Hanwell players who actually tried to keep their shape and defend rather than going for glory all the time - LUKE NICHOLAS, TOM GALVIN and HARRY MAGUIRE. Man of the Match goes to JACK McCARTNEY not just for his hatrick but also for his string of second half assists. It makes the draw interesting for the third round but frankly no one is going to want to draw Hanwell in this form. Role on round three.

LUKAS HUHN got the goal to defeat local rivals and give the 12's a much needed morale boosting victory.

Enfield Youth 1 Hanwell Town 3
Hanwell did themselves no favours on an undersized pitch by gifting Enfield a goal within two minutes of the start of the game. A classic defence to goal keeper mix up gave Enfield the dream start. Hanwell had difficulty adjusting to the conditions and heads were dropping. However, before heads dropped HARRY HOPKINS cut inside and let one go from just inside the opposition half finding the back of the net. SAFI FAZLI added another for Hanwell to lead 2 - 1 at half time. JOSH BROWN added a third in the second half the only finish of several chances created by Hanwell on a pitch they never looked comfortable on. Safely into round three let's hope next time its a home draw. Man of the match was HARRY for the goal that changed the game.

Hanwell made a solid start to the game and quickly eased into a 2 - 0 lead. Several chances were created and went either high or wide of goal or occasionally both. However two more were taken before the break to leave Hanwell leading chances 4 - 0 by half time. The second half saw more good attacking football bringing a further 3 making it a comfortable victory. The defence were asleep by the end and let WDBC in for a consolation with last kick of the game. Despite another hatrick for CONNOR HEARN (3), in consecutive games, the team share the man of the match praise for an all round team performance. No such doubts over man of the match in this game as CHARLIE PEARSON scored five times in the second half to leave Hayes reeling. Hayes had better of the chances in a goalless first half without really testing the Hanwell goalkeeper. Good defence by both teams. The second half was a different story with Charlie scoring 2 quick goals to put Hanwell 2 -0 up. He completed his second consecutive hatrick before Hayes pulled a goal back from an unfortunate Hanwell back header from a corner. However PEARSON scored two more, the final goal being a scrambled effort following up a rebound off the bar from a fierce shot by ALEX JOHNSON to make it 6 -1. Hayes got a second near the end but a brilliant second half performance ensured the game belonged to HANWELL and the match ball to CHARLIE PEARSON.

Court Park Colts A 5 Hanwell Town 2
2 skillful individual goals from KEVIN TAUTA and a man of the match performance from new goalkeeper DAMON EDE were not enough as Hanwell went down fighting in the cup to a physical Court Park Colts team. However, Hanwell have much to be proud of as the Colts team have been together for three years and play their games a Division above the 9B'S. TATUA's strikes kept the score at 2 - 2 at half time but as the game wore on the Colts aggressive play and team understanding began to tell. Despite goalkeeper EDE's best efforts Hanwell wilted letting in three in the second half as heads began to drop. Overall the coach was pleased with the team performance and the players should be too as they, a fairly new team, competed well against strong established side.

A very exciting game played in a good spirit saw Hanwell unlucky to come away with only a share of the spoils. A pleasing defensive performance saw SEAN CARROLL keep his second clean sheet of the season. The introduction of TASHAN DWYER in the second half made a difference and it was he who set up KYLE LACEY ANDREWS with a golden chance to hit a winner in the last minute but the home keeper made a brave save. A goal would have capped the man of the match performance from ANDREWS who showed his versatility playing in different roles in the game.

Man of the match CRAIG TILLYER was in awesome form in goal for Hanwell limiting a strong Hayes side to just the two goals. It was a game of one way traffic but TILLYER'S vituoso goalkeeping performance ensured respectability on the scoresheet.

The Under 15s got back into winning ways with a good home win in a tough match. OMAR FAZIL opened the scoring for Hanwell from the penalty spot in the first 15 minutes. DOMINIC PARILLON, probably the clubs most consistent scorer, added another and Hanwell looked ready to hit cruise control. Far from that, they backed off and Charville made a game of it by scoring straight from the kick off. Hanwell were then forced to work for the victory but strong defending kept out the away side as Hanwell made what seemed an easy victory very hard work indeed.

Hanwell Town 3 Chelham Utd 2
Chelham Utd suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Hanwell Town 10B's underlining the progress this side are making. Mind you Chelham did not help themselves by putting the ball in their own net not once but twice in almost identical fashion. JOE LYONS delivered the corner ball for a Chelham head to jump up and nod it in the net. Hanwell liked the idea of having a free start and CHARLIE PEARSON scored a third goal just to stop Chelham from having the strangest hatrick of the season. Chelham grabbed a goal just before the break to keep themselves in the game. There must have been strong words at half time as Chelham scored immediately from the kick off. The game was then played almost entirely in Hanwell's half and the defence was fantastic in not buckling under the pressure.
Under 9 A
Court Park Colts A 1 Hanwell Town 3
A game that was dominated by HANWELL who conspired to make it difficult for themselves. Having quickly gone 2 - 0 up through goals from ANTHONY HAINES and SAM POMPILIS they took their foot off the pedal clearly thinking the game was won. The home team did not agree and scored immediately after the break and put Town under pressure that probably deserved an equaliser. The home side played a fast physical game that forced Hanwell to abandon their normal passing style just to compete. Eventually NIAL KIRKLAND managed to break free to make the score a bit more respectable. Man of the match was ANTHONY HAINES whose determination as much as his goal carried the 9A's to victory.
Under 9 B
Yeading/HEW 2 Hanwell Town 1
A disappointing result in a close game which Hanwell could and probably feel they should have won. The 9B's are still a relatively new side where their opponents showed a greater understanding and that they clearly had played together for a few years as they crafted two goals. LUKE JONES scored what proved to be a consolation for Hanwell but really their effort and work rate deserved more.
Under 8
Hanwell Town 0 Charville Athletic Youth 1
A disappointing result where HANWELL only played football in patches. A lapse at the back allowed Charville in to score what proved to be the only goal of the game. How this happened remains a mystery where several chances were created but no one could quite put the onion in the bag. Good performances from several players who should not be upset by the result but pleased with their own efforts. Man of the match ANDREW BROWN.
Under 7
Hanwell Town 1 Cowley Youth 0
A pleasing win for Hanwell in an exciting closely fought game. Man of the match was JACK PICKERING who was tireless in his efforts to drive the home side forward. The goal came just before half time and was scored by MIRAN BESRANI. Hanwell pushed forward looking for a second but never looked like conceding themselves. BESRANI had another fine shot saved by the Cowley keeper and PICKERING too went close in the dying minutes. Hanwell should have scored more as they do the double over Cowley.

LEAGUE CUP - Round 2
Hanwell Town 6 Bedfont 0
Hanwell made hard work of 9 man Bedfont who put a valiant defence. However, the 13 A's finally found a way through and came out as 6 - 0 winners and are into the next round where they meet either Hillingdon Saints A or B team. Goals came from ROBERT KEOGH (2) ROBBIE HEDGES , JACK READINGS, FRASER McKENZIE and a big hurray for AJ FOSTER who gets his first goal in two years. We are already printing the "I was there when AJ scored" T shirts. MoM goes to Captain 'Marvel' Keogh. It is worthy of a mention that that is the sixth game in a row with a clean sheet! That's 7 hours (or 420 minutes or 25200 seconds) without conceding a goal. Well done the defence. Fantastic. What rain ?

Yeading/H.E.W. 8 Hanwell Town 0
Hanwell played football that matched the conditions cold wet and miserable. They could not contain Yeading who seemed to rise above the conditions and Hanwell were lucky in the end to restrict them to just the 8. The one bright spot was the Man of the Match performance by AZHER ARBI.
Under 7
Ealing UTD 1 Hanwell Town 0 - Match abandoned
It was foolhardy to try and play this game when so many of today's fixtures were lost due to the weather. Someone, somewhere made the wrong decision and although the match was abandoned with at least 5 or 6 minutes left on the clock, the fact that Hanwell had run out of players, due to the cold, speaks for itself. For once, there was no shortage of players who wanted to be substitute. Each player that came off sought immediate shelter. The conditions were truly appalling for any game of football to be played let alone at this the youngest age group. The score being 1 - 0 to the home team was the factual if irrelevant position. Much relief when the abandonment was finally and belatedly called. Three cheers to all who braved it - Men of the match awards to you all each and every one.

Hanwell Town 4 v E.A.Y.G. FC 4
(EAYG Win 4 -2 on Penalties)
A game that was a cup cracker. Hanwell went 1 - 0 up, but EAYG equalised and took the lead 2 - 1 by half time. Uncharacteristic slack defending by Hanwell allowed the visitors to extend their lead to 3 - 1. Hanwell then woke up and decided to show their mettle scoring not once, not twice but three times to lead 4 - 3 with time running out Hanwell had one boot in the next round. Then an incident occurred that happens in football like it happens in no other sport. The referee saw a foul all other observers missed. The resultant penalty was dispatched forcing the game into extra time. The defences of both teams had by now come alive and tired legs could produce no further goals forcing the lottery of a penalty shoot out. The goalscorers for Hanwell were OMER FAZIL, DOMINIC PARRILON, MARK LISTON, and CALLAN ARACHI. Unfortunately, for Hanwell it was EAYG who held the winning ticket earning the right to proceed to the next round 4 - 2 on penalties. OMAR and DOMINIC being succesful from the penalty spot. The coach was pleased with the way in which the team battled back and although the result was unfortunate the performance was much to their credit.

Acton Sports 0 Hanwell Town 6
DECLAN SPEEDE becomes the latest inductee to the HANWELL HATRICKS hall of fame as the 13B's trounced Acton Sports. Other scorers were FREDDIE HAYNES, JOE SMITH, and man of the match MYLES JOHNSON scoring first goal of the season, a very pleasing effort and much welcome by the players. In the second half an outstanding one handed diving save to his right by goalkeeper GEORGE ISITT pushing the ball around the post, kept the clean sheet intact. The whole team performed well and good passing, stout defending and some nifty goalkeeping earned a fine victory.

Hanwell Town 2 Charville Athletic 3
A game of what should have been for Hanwell 12's. Goals from OLIVER PHILLIPS and SEAN EARLES with the one response had Hanwell in the second half within sight of a victory. However, an unfortunate injury forced Hanwell to battle on for a short period with just 10 men. When full numbers were restored a bit of positional change was required and this disrupted the home side who conceded two quick goals to lose a game that really they should have won.
Under 11 A
White City Youth 0 Hanwell Town 11
A demolition job by the 11A's. Goals came thick and fast. Even goalkeeper MATTHEW SINGH got on the score sheet powering home a spot kick. PAUL UNDERWOOD became the latest HANWELL HATRICK HERO, chipping in a couple more than his usual obligatory one. There were two goals a piece from JUSTIN MAISEY, JO COWLER and SAFFI FAZLI and one for luck from JOSH BROWN. Very impressive performance.

Hanwell Town 1 Yeading/HEW 3
A good effort by the 11 B's who had to field a reserve keeper due to illness. YEADING HEW were held to 0 -0 at half time before finally they took a deserved lead. UNI VINE MARTIN got Hanwell level but they could not hold on and two quickfire goals saw off a determined effort.

LEAGUE CUP - Round 2
Yeading/HEW B 0 Hanwell Town 5
Hanwell took control from the outset but only had the one goal scored by CONNOR HEARN to show for it at half time. Credit has to go to the Yeading keeper who pulled off save after save. But for his outstanding contribution the score could have read 5 or 6. Hanwell kept up the constant pressure after the turn around but it was a rather fortunate own goal that doubled the lead. Piling forward the Yeading keeper finally capitulated and in a devastating 5 minutes EDDIE CARTER earning the man of the match plaudit scored twice the final goal being scored by JACK STEPHENS. It was not only his goals that earned CARTER the reward his persistence and refusal to let his head drop in the face of a dynamic goalkeeping keeping display earned its due reward.

LEAGUE CUP - Round 2
Junior Bees B 4 Hanwell Town 1
An off game for the B team. It started off even stevens with neither side creating much. Junior Bees scored just before half time and straight away after the kick off for the second half. Hanwell responded with a individual goal from ROSHAN VYAS brilliantly dribbling around 4 Bees players before dispatching goal into the net. The solo effort was enough to earn him Man of the match. However, about half the 10 B side are still recovering from illness and fatigue clearly set in. Junior Bees capitalised to score twice more. A big thanks to JOE LYON who volunteered to go between the sticks in the absence of the usual keeper.
Under 9 A
Cowley Youth 0 Hanwell Town 6
A fine performance by the Under 9's in which man of the match SAM POMPILIS scored four goals. Hanwell dominated the game and Cowley were lucky to limit the damage to just the one goal at the break. However, any resistance was swept away in the second half as Hanwell and POMPILIS particularly lay siege to the Cowley goal. Frankly, so one sided was it that should have been double figures. JOHNATHON BIRSE scored twice to keep SAM company on the score sheet. A convincing win.

Hanwell refused to lie down and a goal by MIRAN BESRANI Pitshanger all the way to the final whistle. Man of the match JAMIE GOULD had a storming game, setting up both of Hanwell's goals. Good effort shown by the boys.

Chelsea UTD 1 v Hanwell Town 2
The usually dependable goalscoring machine that is DOMINIC PARILLON left his shooting boots at home today because despite the game being largely one sided he did everything bar score. Hanwell went 1 - 0 in the first half through a bizarre own goal. A shot by man of the match OMAR FAZLI rebounded off the woodwork into a defender and into the net. ANDREW DENHAM put Hanwell 2 - 0 the first time he has appeared on the scoresheet this season. All Hanwell had to do was see the game out for the last 10 minutes. However, with 5 minutes to go White City Youth got a goal and pushed for an equaliser. Then, Hanwell could not get out of their own half. From dominating the game Hanwell were left hanging on, their reward being that they leapfrog WCY into fourth place in the league.

Hanwell Town 4 v Charville Athletic 2
Hanwell huffed and puffed and finally blew the Dynamoes house down. The A team suffered from a serious bout of 'over confidence' and it showed on the pitch. Thamesbank made a spirited fight of it but couldn't stop JOE WEBB getting a hatrick and JACK MCCARTNEY scoring with a delightful chip over their 'keeper. Hanwell's record of 7hrs 36 minutes without conceding went to a fine strike by The Dynamoes left winger and their second was a deflected effort-Hanwell 'keeper PERRY HEASLIP had no chance with either. Man of the Match goes to HATRICK HERO scoring JOE WEBB. Next week will see a return to the regular formation and hopefully a better team display in the county cup

Hanwell Town 2 v Thamesbank Dynamoes 4
The coach was pleased with an improved performance against a team that had beaten them 5 - 1 earlier in the season. Man of the match was DANIEL BROWN who really put the effort in today. A day where the home side created chances and more often than not were thwarted. The away team scored every time they shot. The goals were from JAN OHL and BEN BROOK-SMITH.

Hanwell Town 8 v AGV Youth 0
For the second week running goalkeeper MATTHEW SINGH slotted home a penalty to get his name on the scoresheet. At that stage of the game the points were safely in the bag. The goals were shared between SAFFI FAZLI (2), PAUL UNDERWOOD (2), JOSH BROWN, JUSTIN MAISEY and GEORGE WILLIAMS. It should be noted that JOSH BROWN has now scored 22 goals this season so far and we are not even yet through December.

Ealing UTD 4 v Hanwell Town 1
Like their clubmates the Under 8's, Hanwell 11 Bs found Ealing Utd too difficult to overcome. Unlike the 8's Hanwell managed to get on the scoresheet through man of the match NATHAN McCLEOD. After having most of the possession in the first half Hanwell got worn down by Ealing who having withstood the pressure punished Hanwell in a series of attacks.

LEAGUE CUP - Round 3
Hilllingdon Saints A 1 Hanwell Town 3
A very entertaining game, good football played by both sides. Hanwell took an early lead through MAX RODERICK to lead at half time. Hanwell started the second half slowly but eventually crafted a few chances forcing the their keeper to save. Hanwell eventually took control with CONNOR HEARN scoring a superb individual goal running from his own half. Hillingdon got back into it when the Hanwell keeper misjudged a cross and the ball was harshly adjudged to have crossed the line. Fortunately, straight from the kick off AIDAN LONNERGAN picked up the ball on the left side and cut inside before scoring an absolute screamer to restore the two goal advantage. Hanwell then continued to dominate with man of the match CONNOR HEARN narrowly missing a further goal from a free kick the ball appearing to strike the back of the net as well as the bar. Unfortunately the ref only saw the bar. Round 4 here we go.
Under 10 B
Hanwell Town B 1 White City Youth B 0
A scrappy first half with neither side creating any chances of note. Second half was a lot better defensively Hanwell gave nothing away and started to make their goalkeeper work with a serious of chances. It looked to be heading for a nil nil draw when man of the match AARON HARRIS made a superb tackle in central midfield, and then played an equally superb pass to CHARLIE PEARSON who duly obliged by tucking the ball in to the net to win the game for HANWELL.
Under 9 A
Acton Sports 2 v Hanwell Town 2
.A bizarre game of football. The pitch had been marked out in an area between 2 full size pitches, where you could barely make out the goals as a result and it was more square than rectangular. The surface was hard caked mud rather than grass resulting in bouncing ball reminiscent of a power ball. Clearly the home side were used to scrapping in such circumstances whilst Hanwell preference to keep the ball on the ground pass and move was stymied. The conditions meant it was possible to score direct from a goal kick so it was not one for the purists. A lottery of a game where goals from SAM POMPILIS and JONATHON BURSE cancelled out by 2 home goals left honours and the points even in a most unsatisfactory game. Man of the match MATTHEW LEE.
Under 9 B
West Drayton Utd 12 v Hanwell Town 0
The last thing an inexperienced side, who haven't played for a few weeks need is to meet the top of the table team who are, and remain, unbeaten this season. The inexperience showed as heads quickly dropped. Great effort by MASAYUKI NOGUCHI
Under 8 A
Ealing UTD 4 v Hanwell Town 0
An entertaining first half saw the U8s compete with a talented Ealing Side. Strong first half defending from BRADLEY VENTOUR and man of the match WILLIAM GOODLAKE was impressive and Hanwell were unlucky to be 1 behind at half time. The second half started brightly but a loss of shape resulted in Ealing doubling their lead. TASHAN DWYER was close to getting Hanwell back into the game from a free kick. However, Ealing got the bit between their teeth and a fine save by keeper SEAN CARROLL from a ferocious shot resulted in his having to be substituted. Errors then proved costly as Ealing pounced twice more to close out the game. As the game went on Hanwell found it increasingly difficult to get out of their own half. Despite the result there were many positive things to take from the game and it was a vastly improved performance from the U8s to the corresponding home fixture.
Under 7 A
Hanwell Town U7 0 v Hanwell Town U8 B 3
An in house game between the improving U7 team and the U8 B team some of whom made their debut on the hallowed surface of Reynolds Lane. The game took a little while to settle down and was notable for its competitiveness. Despite this being the first time the 8 B side has had an outing, most of their players have played and the years age difference and the experience perhaps told in the end. The second game in 2 days for the 7's and tiredness played its part. The U8 scored one scrappy goal in the first half through debutante SAMIR SHAFFI who pounced to nudge the ball in, as the 7's defence failed to clear. The defensive pairing of EOGHAN MCNELIS and ELLIOT MAYNARD seemed assured and secure for the 8's. Following the turnaround the 8's played most of the half in the 7's half. An injury to JACK PICKERING did the 7's cause no favours. Pressure was sure to tell and sure enough GEORGE `MAGIC BOOTS' PEARSON kept up the family goalscoring tradition with a trademark four feet tap in. (See U10 match report). SHAFFI produced a final goal just before the end to make the scoreline look more favourable to the 8'S than perhaps the game deserved. Well done to both sides for an entertaining game.

Hanwell Town U15 3 v Yeading Youth U15 6
There are many clichés in football. This game was evidence of one; it was a game of two halves. With only 11 players on duty Hanwell were never to have the luxury of substitutes. Never mind, DOMINIC PARILLON made his usual contribution bagging 2 goals and when MARK LISTON scored a third Hanwell had no worries about substitutions and could think about the points being safely in the bag. Yeading, however, are a good team and notched one back just before half time to stay in the match. Half time is the opportunity to listen to the coach to revisit your positives and identify the negatives to ensure they are not repeated. Doubt has undone many a fine team. One or two voices chose not to listen but to express their doubt. This soon manifested itself in their play as Yeading, who at half time listened to their coach scored again and again and again and again and again, newly united in their belief. The good work of the first half was undone. If ears had listened Hanwell may well have carried on playing their winning football but the doubters let Yeading win.

Hanwell 2 Springfield Youth 4
The under 13 A team went out of the county cup against Springfield Youth this Sunday and were left to rue missed chances and niggely injuries. The boys competed well but found that that mistakes against good teams like Springfield do not go unpunished. Some silly errors let a determined Youth side in to score and some poor finishing left the A team down and out. However, the lads can feel proud that they tried their hardest. ROBERT KEOGH scored both of Hanwell's goals and both were fine efforts. However, man of
the match goes to ROBBIE HEDGES who fought tooth and nail in the centre of midfield and left the pitch exhausted. Still working hard for a League and League cup double now

Hanwell 1 v Ealing UTD 4
Ealing outmuscled and outplayed HANWELL to win this derby but the result does not reflect the game as a whole. It was a tight affair until Ealing were awarded a debatable penalty pen and that was the turning point of the game. Until then it had been fairly even. The 12's played well but felt the referee found keeping up with this game a little difficult. Ealing outmuscled Hanwell and BEN BROOK - SMITH scored what proved to be little more than a consolation for HANWELL. Man of the match was JOE MARRON

The under 11's march on to the 4th round of the County Cup having dominated the game against Mavericks. It was a magnificent team display as shown by the share out of the goals between JOSH BROWN, SAFFI FAZLI, JUSTIN MAISEY, MICHAEL BURSE, HARRY HOPKINS, (a left foot screamer from outside the box), CALLUM BUIST, GEORGE WILLIAMS and a cracking header from JOE COWLER. Quality goals and a great team effort. The away goal was courtesy of a penalty with virtually the last kick of the match. Special praise to the Captain for his mature captaincy.
